Syllabus

Mentors: Molly Christensen, LaRayne Miller

Time: 9:30 to 10:25

Description:  “It is worth great effort to organize the truth we gather to simple statements of principle,” says Elder Richard G. Scott. “Principles are concentrated truth, packaged for application.”

Rather than being acted upon in our lives, we need to act, leading out in action based on true principles. Core Leadership Class will be a place where youth of all ages and abilities can come together, to share, serve, teach, and inspire one another to lead out in righteous action!

In this class, you’ll learn core leadership skills through experience! You’ll learn how to own your own life with this system designed to help you create amazing things you want in your life. We will practice skills and learn to get goals you choose. Through a combination of brief lectures, videos, discussions, simulations and Q&As led by an awesome student youth mentor, you’ll be inspired, guided and held accountable, all while having FUN!

This class will not take a lot of additional time for homework, but it will help you prioritize your life better and will help you be more efficient with your time. You’ll also be able to use the skills you learn in this class in your other classes.
