S.P.A.R.K. Nights

S.P.A.R.K. Nights

Scholars and Parents Acquiring Righteousness and Knowledge

What? Educational, inspirational, and motivational meetings and events. We will have colloquium on assigned books, talks, articles, videos, and other materials that teach the principles ASA is founded on. Through study and teaching each other we are doing the very thing we are asking our children to do: gain knowledge, act to understand, and become intelligent by applying truth in our lives in a meaningful way. See monthly newsletters for resources to study in preparation for each meeting.

Who? All ASA parents & mentors. Any ASA students that want to come.

Where? The PAC unless otherwise announced.

When? Held three times in the school year. See calendar for this year’s dates and times. Note: At least one member parent per family is required to attend at least two of the S.P.A.R.K. Nights per school year to keep voting status at the Spring Meeting where the Executive Board is voted in.

Why? Parent/mentor training is essential for youth to be successful at ASA. Parents need to be in-the-know and on-board with the vision and principles ASA is founded on. Together at these meetings we will create community, study principles together, teach each other, discuss truth, and be inspired. We will learn how to best implement true educational principles in our families, home schools, and ASA.
