Opinion Paper
This is the last opinion paper of the year! Don’t panic at how long this question is. I just wanted to help you remember what we talked about this year.
Think about what we have talked about in class this year. We have talked about topics such as the Explorers, Jamestown, the Pilgrims, the Colonists getting frustrated with King George, moments like Lexington & Concord, the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, being a Loyalist or a Patriot (or neutral!), the Declaration of Independence, the Revolutionary War, Valley Forge, the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitutional Convention. If you had the chance to go back in time to watch one of those moments, what would you want to watch? Tell us why you want to watch and and what you would be looking for. Also, is there someone we talked about in class that you would want to meet? If so, who would you want to meet? What would you ask him/her? Or would you thank him/her? What would you thank him/her for?
