Earth and Space Science

We are so excited to dig deep and aim high as we study geology, physical science, earth science, and astronomy. During in-class and optional geology field trips we will climb through incredible formations found in Utah. We will use rock hammers, rock saws and polishers to build your own fantastic rock collections. Telescopes, binoculars, and your new red flashlights are the tools for our astronomy field trips. We will create models of our solar system, visit planetariums, and design your own Mars colony to understand just how vast and complex the universe is. Bring your provided field journals along as we explore and observe. Let's journey together through earth & space!
