World Traveler

Come explore the world with us! We will be learning about geography, world cultures and earth science. We will study each continent as we learn about the people who live in those parts of the world through reading books, doing presentations, eating new foods, visiting museums, meeting people from around the world, awesome hands-on activities in class, creating art, and watching fascinating videos!

By the end of this class you will be able to name and locate on a map all the continents, oceans, major countries, cities, land formations, rivers, and places of historic importance in the world. We will also learn about how to plan a trip, and you will have an opportunity to choose a destination, and plan a trip as if you were going to really travel there!

Come with us as we travel around the world!
